Badminton player Mariya Mitsova withdraws from Swiss Open

Bulgaria’s badminton player Mariya Mitsova withdrew from the Swiss Open 2021 after an entourage member tested positive for Covid-19, announced the Badminton World Federation (BWF), quoted by BNR’s Horizont channel.

Mistova was placed under quarantine in the official hotel. Gabriela Stoeva, Stefani Stoeva and Linda Zetchiri will represent Bulgaria at the tournament in Basel with a total prize fund of USD 130,000.
