Ambassador Angelov and Minister Milevski emphasized the excellent cross-border cooperation between the two countries, announced the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Angelov pointed out at the meeting that the construction of “Klepalo” border checkpoint under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance for the period 2021-2027 was among Bulgaria's priorities.

The access road between Strumiani (Bulgaria) and Berovo (North Macedonia) should connect the two neighboring municipalities and is expected to boost the development of the small and medium-sized business in the region.
