Easier procedure for Bulgarian candidate students coming from abroad

Photo: library

The procedure for admitting Bulgarians from abroad to state universities in this country will be eased, according to changes prepared by the Ministry of Education. They have been discussed online between Minister Krassimir Valchev and the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad, BTA reported.

Measures concern the application deadlines and the language preparation, as the places for training will be specifically listed and will be published for public discussion. Bulgarian candidate students from abroad will have state-subsidized places and will not pay tuition. They will be required to have completed at least two high school years in a Bulgarian Sunday school abroad, one of which must be in the 12th grade.
