Two Bulgarian mountains are to play host to the Olympic Winter Festival in Bulgaria. The sports competitions will take place in the Osogovo Mountain on Friday and Saturday and in the Rhodope resort of Chepelare on Sunday.

Nearly 350 participants aged 11 to 16 are to take part at three events- skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing, announced the Bulgarian Olympic Committee on its website. The event takes place for the ninth consecutive year under the motto “Discovering the Olympic hopes of Bulgaria”. It is organized by the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and the Association “for Sport in the Free Time”.
