The Shumen Plateau Nature Park is looking for volunteers to help maintain the major tourist routes in the area. The initiative was born on occasion of the anniversary of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park – February 5. There are seven main hiking trails, four thematic routes, three cycling routes and a rock-climbing route on its territory. We are looking for partners to help us maintain the marked trails, the park’s director Engineer Vasil Vasilev said.

The volunteers shall maintain and clean the sites with the assistance of the Nature Park’s directorate. They also have the opportunity to place a data plate indicating who takes care of the place, specified Vasil Vasilev.
