The National Assembly liberalized the way medical specialists from the EU will be able to practice their profession in Bulgaria, approving amendments, at first reading, to the Recognition of Professional Qualifications Act amidst criticism from both the ruling party and the opposition.

By force of these amendments, for example, a dentist from Spain with three years of training will be given the same professional rights in this country, as a dentist in Bulgaria with six years of training, Horizont channel’s Daniel Inkov reports.
