The funds that the state will allocate for this purpose are a little over 1 million euros, and the idea is to add small forest properties which cannot be maintained by their private owners to the state-owned forests.
The ministry reminds that such campaigns have already been conducted in 2016 and 2020. A total of 459 properties with a total area of 281,9 ha and a total value of 887,000 euros have been purchased by the state until now.
