The latest initiative of the citizens of Burgas is to decorate benches in the city with quotes from emblematic movies. The idea has emerged because of the fact that one of the most visited summer destinations in this country has also become a sought-after place for filming. The city also hosts several film festivals.
But why were benches chosen? They are the place where many people laugh or cry, rest, meditate, read, municipal officials say and add: "Many girls were kissed there for the first time. Many young people made plans for the future sitting on a park bench. It is not a sin or a crime to drink a beer or a glass of wine there, as long as one is reasonable and does not cause damage to the park or pollution...”
To make your stay outdoors more fun in the summer, organisers invite anyone who wants to join them with their suggestion for a favorite movie quote.
