Bulgaria has become one of the regional hi-tech centers. Despite the pandemic the IT sector grew 10% in 2020, Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said during an online conference on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Shaping Bulgaria's Digital Future".

The conference, which continues on January 28, aims at supporting the development of specific national policies for digital transformation and artificial intelligence, BTA reported.
