Bulgaria relies on US support for its candidacy for OECD membership

In a congratulatory letter to the new US President Joseph Biden, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev points out that relations between the two countries have become a proven and lasting friendship and have logically acquired the status of a strategic partnership.

President Radev hopes for progress in the dialogue on Bulgaria's inclusion in the US visa-free travel program. The Bulgarian President also points out that this country will rely on the support of the United States for Bulgaria's candidacy for membership in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as on a number of other issues of bilateral interest.
