Traffic between Teatralna and Hadzhi Dimitar metro stations of the third line of the Sofia Metro has been temporarily suspended. The trains stopped running between the two stations yesterday due to problems with the railway line, Executive Director of metro operator "Metropolitan" EAD Stoyan Bratoev told BNR.

The railway line is to be dismantled and repaired. Stoyan Bratoev admitted that the problem may have arisen from last week’s heavy rains. The bed of Perlovska River is located near the closed section. Buses will run between the two stations to serve the passengers in the area. The third metro line, which connects "Hadzhi Dimitar" and "Krasno Selo" residential districts, was officially unveiled on August 26, 2020.
