Sixty people gathered for a celebration last night in a Sofia-based hotel, violating the ban on such gatherings in the conditions of coronavirus epidemic, the police found. During the inspection it became clear that the restaurant of the hotel worked in violation of the anti-epidemic measures.

Famous fashion models and lawyers were spotted among the visitors. The guests were not staying at the hotel and some of them tried at the last minute to fill in declarations that they were sleeping in it to avoid sanctions.

The night-time police check found a total of six catering establishments operating illegally.
