A new personal document "Bulgarian origin card" will entitle foreigners of Bulgarian descent to work, study and reside in Bulgaria. This country’s National Assembly adopted at first reading amendments to the Bulgarian Personal Documents Act.
The issuance procedure will be similar to the issuance of Bulgarian personal documents. It will be preceded by certificate of Bulgarian origin issued by the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad.
