Commissioner Reynders: EU is ready to assist in digitalization of Bulgarian justice

Bulgaria's Justice Minister Desislava Ahladova has discussed judicial reform in Bulgaria with EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders, BTA reported.

Ahladova presented the measures for implementation of the recommendations in the Report of the European Commission for Bulgaria on the rule of law, as well as the planned reform of the accountability and criminal liability of the country's Prosecutor General. Minister Ahladova also outlined the proposed measures for the introduction of e-justice in the country through the digitalization of the judiciary.

Reynders expressed EU's readiness to assist in the digitization of key data massifs for citizens and businesses.
