Code Orange for neavy snow issued for some Bulgarian regions on January 10

Code Orange for heavy snow was issued for three districts in Northwestern Bulgaria on January 10. Vidin, Vratsa and Montana districts are expected to get 30 centimeters of snow. Code Yellow for rain and snow was declared for the rest of the country. An increase in the snow cover is expected in the Danube Plain and in areas above 1300 meters elevation. Rainfalls amounting to 25-35 liters per square meter are expected in Southern Bulgaria.
