To prevent the spreading of the British and South African mutations of Covid-19,as of the 9th until the 17th of January, Denmark is banning all passenger flights to the country.
The ban will allow passenger flights only under the condition, that all passengers onboard the airplane have tested negative for COVID-19 within 24 hours of boarding the plane. Children under the age of 12 will be excluded from the test requirement. There is no information, as yet, what kind of test will be required – PCR or antigen, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry says. The ban comes into effect, at 5 PM today, 9January.
