Bulgaria is expected to receive another 25,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines today. This time they will be brought by plane and transported to the regional health inspectorates by special vehicles, chief health inspector Assoc. Prof. Angel Kunchev said.

The first phase of vaccination, covering medical professionals on the front line against the epidemic, GPs, dentists and pharmacists, should be completed by the end of January. If the European Medicines Agency approved the Moderna vaccine this week, the immunization of the elderly would start simultaneously. Another 35,000 doses of vaccines are expected to arrive in mid-January and 35,000 more at the end of the month.
