Covid-19 vaccine technology has been known since 2008

It is not true that the coronavirus vaccine was made too quickly and has not been tested enough, Dr. Trifon Valkov from the Hospital of Infectious Diseases in Sofia has told bTV.

He added that the technology has been known since 2008 and now it is possible to create a vaccine based on this model.

"From a biological point of view, this is one of the purest vaccines that medicine has," the doctor said. He added that during the immunization, the typical side effects of all vaccines could emerge - redness at the injection site and higher body temperature for a day or two.
