For the seventh year in a row, 36-year-old Georgi Simeonov from Gorna Oryahovitsa has taken the role of Santa Claus to help somebody in need.
This time his charity activity is aimed at a 41-year-old fellow citizen with stomach cancer and will continue until the end of the year. Because of his good deeds Georgi Simeonov is the winner of the "Worthy Bulgarians" award. According to him, the Christmas miracle exists as people respond to the suffering of others and open their hearts. He adds that good always triumphs over evil.
