2% of businesses give positive assessment to business climate in 2020

2020 is the most business-negative year in the past decade, indicates an online survey conducted by the Bulgarian Industrial Association in the period 10 November – 10 December among 81 micro, small, medium and large enterprises from all economic sectors in the country. Only 2% give a positive assessment to the business climate.

Only a small part of businesses have benefited from the anti-crisis measures. 60/40 is the most popular measure, with 28% of businesses benefiting from it. 40% of businesses who have benefited from the anti-crisis measures complain of how slow the process is, 35% - of red tape and excessive paperwork. 11% say they have not encountered any obstacles in the process of obtaining the assistance.
