Bulgaria follows the general EU trend of population aging. The level of migration of young people from small settlements to cities remains unchanged. More than 3/4 of them live in the cities and only 1/4 in the villages, shows the Annual Report on Youth, approved at a parliamentary session, BTA reported.

There is a trend of rising number of young people returning to Bulgaria after completing their education abroad, but there is a large share of young people who show no interest in politics and socio-political life of the country. 41% do not read books. 75% of young people say they are completely satisfied or rather satisfied with their lifestyle, the report reads.
