Bulgaria faces Italy, Switzerland, Northern Ireland and Lithuania in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers

Bulgaria will face Italy, Switzerland, Northern Ireland and Lithuania in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The draw for 2022 World Cup in Qatar was held in the Swiss town of Zurich and placed Bulgaria in Group C, BTA reports.

Bulgaria’s National Men’s Football Team will play for a quota for the World Football Cup finals in Qatar which will be held between November and December 2022. The qualifiers will be played between March and November 2021.

The best 10 teams from each continental group are to qualify directly for Qatar 2022 World Cup. The teams that finish second in their groups in the UEFA region will compete for the last three quotas.
