Bulgarian runs again 10,000 meters in less than 29 minutes

Bulgaria’s athlete Ivo Balabanov finished seventh at the Track Meet 10,000 m event in Los Angeles, USA held last weekend. Balabanov stopped the clock at 28:43.33 minutes. The achievement of the 23-year-old Balabanov is the third best in the history of this discipline in Bulgaria. 

Only Evgeni Ignatov -27:56,26 (1988) and Hritso Stefanov- 28:24,47 (1994) ran the distance quicker. Balabanov also beat the record of his California Baptist University, atletikabg.com informs.
