Between 35,000 and 40,000 children will not be effectively involved in online schooling. The reasons are the lack of devices and access to the web, but also the lack of motivation for education. More than 10% of children do not attend school regularly, Minister of Education Krassimir Valchev said. According to the ministry's plans, students and teachers should receive 106,000 devices. So far, only 7-8,000 have been distributed.

Teachers are worried about how the new period of distance learning will affect the youngest students up to the fourth grade. Speaking to the Bulgarian National Radio, parents expressed dissatisfaction that children left at home are not moving enough; they have no social contacts and stay in front of the computer for 6-7 hours.
