At today’s meeting, the Council of Ministers approved the candidature of Bulgarian Nadezhda Neynski for the position of Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) for the period July 1, 2021- June 30, 2024, the government’s press office announced. Nadezhda Neynski served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and a member of the European Parliament.
The Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation traces its origin to 1992. Thirteen countries are currently members of BSEC: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine and the Republic of North Macedonia.
