A protest of the bus carriers and the taxi drivers has been announced for today. The reason for their dissatisfaction is the parliamentary-backed presidential veto on legal changes concerning unregulated transportation.
Some carriers will protest by partially or completely suspending their service for passengers during the day.
"Unregulated passenger transport is a very serious problem that dates back more than 10 years. It is obvious that this cannot be solved with administrative measures", commented in an interview for BNT Magdalena Miltenova, President of the Confederation of Bus Carriers.
