Bulgaria reports 2,301 new cases of Covid-19

2,301 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 8,702 PCR tests performed. 26.44% of all PCR tests returned positive. The highest number of new infections was registered in Sofia-853, followed by Varna-271, Plovdiv-144 and Burgas-128 new cases, data of the Single Information Portal show.

3,715 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, 271 of whom in intensive care units.

56 patients have died and 369 people have recovered in the past 24 hours. There are 49,048 active cases of Covid-19. A total of 2,981 medics have been diagnosed with Covid-19 until now. 80 medics have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
