For the second year in a row, dozens of ladies from the Lady Bikers MPowered Association start a motorcycle march in support of the fight against breast cancer.

Motorcyclists from all over the country will take part in the event, BNR Radio Sofia has reported. The event starts today at 11 am in front of the “Kolodrum” sports hall in Plovdiv with an information campaign, after which the motorcycle rally with pink ribbons and pink balloons will begin.

The goal of the ladies bikers is to draw the attention of all women to how important not missing preventive examinations is. Funds will be raised for the One in 8 Foundation in support of women with breast cancer.

Every year 1,200 Bulgarian women die from breast cancer.
