Bulgarian Air Force celebrates 69 years since establishment of Bezmer Air Base

Bulgaria's Bezmer Air Base near the town of Yambol celebrates 69 years since its establishment. On this occasion, an open day has been announced there and visitors will be able to see aviation and special equipment, as well as shooting arms. 

Bezmer Air Base was established on October 5, 1951 as the 22nd Fighter Air Regiment of the Graf Ignatievo Air Base near Plovdiv, and in 1955 the air regiment was relocated to Bezmer Airport.
