A decline of Bulgaria’s gross domestic product of up to 7% would be a success for Bulgaria, this country’s Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov said in an interview for Darik Radio. In his words, in the second quarter of 2020 Bulgaria’s GDP fell 8.5% year on year due to the coronavirus epidemic. Bulgaria does better than many European countries in terms of GDP decline, Minsister Borissov said. Lachezar Borisov underlined that the risk to the economy remains until this country overcomes the Covid-19 crisis.
