Bulgarians who are dissatisfied with their government are expected to attend on Saturday evening the Grand National Uprising 4. The protest is to begin at 5 pm in front of the Presidency building downtown Sofia. The organizers of the rally from the Toxic Trio expect people from all over the country to take part at the event.

On the 87th consecutive day of protests, demonstrators are demanding the resignations of Bulgaria’s cabinet, this country’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and early Parliamentary elections.

During last night’s protest, which passed under the motto “We are not afraid”, some of the demonstrators led by “BOEC” and “Justice for all” civil movements reached the building of the Bulgarian National Television. Meanwhile, Bulgaria’s Minister of Justice Desislava Ahladova was taking part at a weekly political overview show. Protesters hurled eggs at the entrances of the public broadcaster and demanded the resignation of BNT Director General Emil Koshlukov.
