Bulgarian carries to receive gratuitous help due to Covid-19 crisis

All licensed carriers in Bulgaria are to receive gratuitous financial assistance by the state to overcome the economic consequences of Covid-19 crisis. Depending on their turnover, the companies will receive between EUR 1,534 and EUR 230,081, this country’s Minister of Transport Information Technology and Communications Rosen Zhelyazkov announced.

For the purpose, Minister Zhelyazkov signed an agreement with Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy Lachezar Borissov. More than EUR 15 million will be allocated to small and medium-sized bus carriers.

Nearly 1,500 companies from this sector can benefit from this measure, BNR reporter Dobromir Tsevtkov announced.
