Representatives of high-tech companies are meeting at their annual conference in Bourgas today to map out measures for the development of the industry in the coming years.
At the forum the Association for Innovation, Business Excellence, Services and Technology will present estimates regarding the effect the coronavirus pandemic will have in the long-term on business services with high added value in this country.
Representatives of the government and of the local authorities will also take part in the conference. They are expected to give ideas on how to attract new investments at a local and national level and how to create a favourable business environment for the development of the sector which forms 5.2% of the country’s GDP.
The Association will hand out their annual awards for employer, company, innovation and project of the year, as well as for best sustainability business strategy in times of crisis.
Outsourcing, which is within the scope of activity of the Association for Innovation, Business Excellence, Services and Technology, provides jobs to many young people in this country. Because of the high salaries and good career opportunities many of them remain in the country instead of seeking career development abroad. The outsourcing sector employs more than 73,000 people, according to 2019 data.
