High-profile figures left out of BSP governing body

The voice of the internal opposition within the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will be weaker after high-profile figures from the party were left out of its national council, among them the President of the Party of European Socialists Sergei Stanishev, Valeri Zhablianov, Angel Naidenov, Georgi Pirinski, Georgi Gergov.

This transpired at the 50th jubilee congress of the BSP at which the results of the elections for new governing body of the party were announced.
