Foreign investors open 3,200 new jobs

Despite the Covid-19 crisis, since the beginning of 2020, certificates to 22 projects totaling 363 million euros have been issued under the Investment Promotion Act, as they have the potential to create 3203 new jobs. This was announced by the Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov at the presentation of class "A" investment certificate to "Balkan Agricultural" in Plovdiv.

The investment project of the company envisages expansion of the existing base by construction of new production and storage areas for processing and storage of fruit and vegetables in the Maritza Industrial Zone, which is part of the Thrace Economic Zone.
