You can find out the answers to these and other intriguing questions at the 10th edition of Sofia Science Festival taking place in Sofia Tech Park on 26th and 27th September. Visitors will be able to find out how we can preserve our planet by consuming less, what the future of medicine is, what biological risks lie in store and how we can prepare for them. And also: space catastrophes, volcanoes and frozen moons, and can we become a bi-planetary species.
Some significant anniversaries will be marked: the centennial birth anniversaries of Rosalind Franklin, Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov, 90 years since the discovery of the planet Pluto, 30 years since the launch of the Hubble telescope.
