Demonstrators are protesting against the government for the 71st consecutive day under the motto “We are not afraid”. Protesters are demanding the resignations of this country’s cabinet, Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and National Assembly Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva.

A protest is held in Bulgaria’s second-largest city Plovdiv as well. The organizers of the protest called on the residents of Plovdiv to bring pumpkins with them in response to accusations that their actions are organized by the mafia. Today’s protests are expected to end with street processions.
