Young athletes Teodor and Valentin Tsvetkov embark on marathon with noble cause

From September 14 to 20, the brothers Teodor Tsvetkov and Valentin Tsvetkov are holding their new marathon with a noble cause. Within seven days, Teodor will swim a distance of 280 km, and Valentin will run a distance of 280 km. For the sports event they have chosen the lake in Lipnik Forest Park, village of Nikolovo, near Ruse.

The cause of the two athletes is "Education for every child" - a campaign of UNICEF Bulgaria. The funds raised will be used to create an educational platform for children with disabilities.

The required amount is BGN 400 thousand, and anyone can make a donation via SMS to the short number 1021 or via Teodor Tsvetkov's profile on social networks.

The young swimmer is among the Guinness World Record holders after swimming 10 km in a lake with one hand tied to his body years ago.

Hopefully, the new charity campaign will be as successful as previous campaigns. Three years ago, he organized a swimming marathon in support of women suffering from breast cancer, then focused his efforts on raising funds to build a swimming complex in the town of Ruse.
