"We already know a lot more about the novel coronavirus. We know how to control it and what actions to take to limit its spread." This was stated in an interview with NovaTV by Bulgaria's Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov.

He stressed that hospitals in Bulgaria were ready for a second wave of the spread of the infection. If a more serious increase in the incidence of Covid-19 begins, the patients will not be directed to small medical establishments. "We are aware that there are very few medical professionals there, most of them are elderly. We take these factors into account," he explained.  "First will be the university hospitals, after them the district hospitals, and only in the end it will be the small hospitals", Angelov pointed out.
The ministry is to come up with a strict path for patients with symptoms of coronavirus "so that people know where to go and what to do, and not to go from hospital to hospital," Angelov said. This patient path will be different for each region of Bulgaria.
The minister said, however, many people stopped observing any precautions - masks, disinfection. "Some don't even believe Covid-19 exists," he said.
