Bulgaria stands in solidarity with Greece and will help children from Moria refugee camp

Bulgaria has offered to accept 20 unaccompanied children from the Moria refugee camp on Lesbos island which burnt down.  

There are 400 unaccompanied children among the almost 13,000 migrants left destitute after the two fires which broke out in the refugee centre. Prime Minister Boyko Bortissov has instructed the ministers of the interior and of foreign affairs to take the necessary steps before the Greek side, the government press service has announced.

Bulgaria, alongside the other EU countries, will provide emergency supplies to the refugees in Moria, the Bulgarian Foreign  Ministry announced.
