Bulgaria is joining the “space mail” international programme thanks to which, from 15 September until 23 October, Bulgarian children will be able to send cards with messages into outer space, the BTA reports.
They will be launched on board the New Shepard rocket developed by Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin spaceflight company. Messengers will pay visits to each school to collect the children’s messages. They will be put into a mail box – a special mini rocket at the Muzeiko children's science museum in Sofia. All children will get their cards back stamped “Flown to space!”
