18% of Bulgarian patients with active Covid-19 infection admitted to hospitals

167 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 3,923 PCR tests performed. 4,26% of all PCR tests have returned positive, data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal show.

The number of newly registered cases is highest in Varna- 21, followed by Kardzhali- 20 and Sofia- 17 cases. 108 people have recovered from the virus and 15 people have died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. 

726 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, 57 of whom in intensive care wards. There are 4,324 active cases of the novel coronavirus infection, i.e. 18% of all patients have been hospitalized.
