The Parliament has released Minister of Justice Danail Kirilov and elected Desislava Ahladova, who was deputy minister in Kirilov's office.

Danail Kirilov resigned as Minister of Justice on August 26 without giving specific reasons.

"When not a word is said about why the previous minister left, this could mean several things - that they were ashamed of the result of their work in this term or that the reasons could not be shared with society," Krum Zarkov from the BSP for Bulgaria said.
