GERB submits to parliament draft for new Constitution

GERB has submitted to the parliament's office a draft of a new Constitution and a draft decision to convene a Grand National Assembly. This was announced by the party's press center. Earlier in the day, 127 signatures of MPs were collected with a minimum of 120 signatures required. The two projects were submitted by National Assembly Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva and Menda Stoyanova, MP and member of the GERB Executive Committee.

The signatures came from the coalition partners from the United Patriots - VMRO and NFSB, some of the MPs from Volya political party and independent MPs, BNR reports.
