Premier Boyko Borissov calls for more solidarity amidst Covid-19 crisis

It turned out that we are not ready for a pandemic. In March the countries were competing which one would close its borders first, Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov underlined in his speech at the 15th Bled Strategic Forum. In the context of the expected second wave of Covid-19 the member states do not have a single medical protocol. We don’t have a vaccine yet, Premier Borissov added. We must be more united than ever, in order to overcome the challenges we are now facing, Boyko Borissov pointed out.

Good neighbor relations in Southeastern Europe and as close cooperation with Great Britain after Brexit as possible are common European priorities, Premier Borissov said.
