In draft constitution power of chief prosecutor is more limited

According to the draft text related to the work of the judiciary, the Prosecutor General will not be overly empowered. 

This was what Krassimir Tsipov, Deputy Chairman of GERB's parliamentary group said in an interview with BNR. He said that it was a question of dividing the Supreme Judicial Council, as well as the Inspectorate of the SJC into two bodies - the Council of Judges and the Council of Prosecutors and Investigators, with inspectorates attached to these two councils. The idea is to eliminate suspicions of interference in the judiciary.
