14 kilometers away from Bulgaria’s northwestern town of Belogradchik, tourists can find a real natural wonder - "Venetsa", one of the most beautiful caves in this country. It is located very close to the village of Oreshets. Its entrance can be reached by foot on a dirt road for just a few minutes. The tour in the cave lasts about an hour and tourists are accompanied by a guide.
Visitors to the "Venetsa" move along a metal path that crosses five halls with an incredible variety of cave formations. With the help of the colored LED lighting, "Venetsa" comes to life in all its splendor in front of the eyes of visitors.
