The beautiful Pirin mountain with its diversity in every season has turned Bansko into a popular resort. When it is covered in snow, elite athletes compete on its slopes and skiers ride the well-maintained runs.

These days, despite Covid-19, the Bulgarian mountain resort is open to tourists again. Its summer calendar has been expanded with new festivals and cultural events and hoteliers and restaurateurs have already put signs of safety on their sites, the Regional Health Inspectorate has confirmed.
