The parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party have filed a request for an extraordinary Monday sitting of the National Assembly, which has been on summer vacation since August 1st. BSP also insists on an urgent budget update related to socio-economic measures to overcome the effects of the coronavirus crisis and calls for providing funds for machine voting.

Rumen Gechev of the BSP criticized the 30% rise of salaries of state administration employees due to the pandemic. The BSP described this as a desperate move by Borissov, BNR reporter Daniel Inkov informed.
