Government calls for dialogue with protesters

I call on people from the tents to understand that this is not a reasonable way for dialogue, MP Alexander Nenkov said in a statement in front of the headquarters of the ruling GERB party. The situation with the blockades must be resolved without aggression, only with dialogue, but there must be some representation in order to have dialogue. The minority cannot determine the way of the country, unlike the majority, the politician said.

GERB does not agree that the protest is peaceful. We are talking about blocking a city of two million people, about blocking of highways, which is unseen anywhere in the world, he said.

According to Nenkov, early elections now would mean abdication and added the next government must be decided at regular elections, BTA has reported.
